Simple terms for an indie SaaS.

Use CVMode responsibly, review AI output before relying on it, and note that paid plans are billed through Dodo Payments.

1. Overview

These terms apply when you use CVMode websites, apps, and related services. By using CVMode, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

CVMode is an independent software product. When these terms say CVMode, we, us, or our, that means the product and the people operating it.

2. Using CVMode

You must be at least 16 years old, or old enough to agree to online terms where you live, to use CVMode. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details secure.

Please do not:

  • use CVMode for anything illegal, abusive, or fraudulent;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use;
  • try to scrape, reverse engineer, break, or overload the service;
  • send spam, malware, or deceptive content through the platform;
  • interfere with the product, other users, or our systems.

3. Your Content

You keep ownership of the resumes, cover letters, notes, outreach drafts, and other content you upload or create in CVMode.

You give us a limited permission to host, process, store, and display that content only as needed to run, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for making sure your content is lawful, accurate, and yours to use.

If CVMode offers a paid plan or subscription, pricing and billing terms will be shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record.

Dodo Payments may appear on your receipt or card statement, and their checkout, billing, tax, refund, and privacy terms may also apply to the transaction. If a subscription renews automatically, that will be shown before you pay.

If you need help with a charge, cancellation, or refund request, email [email protected]. Refund requests are reviewed case by case, subject to the checkout terms and applicable law.

5. Service and IP

CVMode, including the software, design, branding, and site content, belongs to us or our licensors. Please do not copy, resell, or reuse it without permission.

We are constantly improving the product, so features may change, pause, or disappear over time. We may suspend or remove access if we believe the service is being abused or used unlawfully.

6. AI and Career Disclaimer

CVMode is provided on an as is and as available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime, perfect accuracy, or guaranteed results.

AI-generated output can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or outdated. You should review everything before using it for applications, outreach, hiring, immigration, legal, or compliance decisions.

CVMode is a tool to help with job-search workflows. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, salary increases, visa approvals, or any other outcome.

7. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CVMode is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses related to your use of the service.

If we are ever found directly liable, our total liability will generally be limited to the amount you paid to CVMode in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as CVMode evolves. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top.
